As a general rule the festival should include everything Irish and or a literary corner, cultural fine arts, some genealogy, historical presentations, theatrical presentations, music and instrument workshops, Celtic animals, Clan reunions and a children play area. In addition you may find games and or sporting demonstrations of Irish football, hurling, and tug-of-wars. The summer is the time for festivals and vacations and our annual summer issue of Irish festivals is, by design, to satisfy any desire to listen and dance to Irish music, mingle with the crowd and meet new friends, eat some good food and indulge in a libation or two

Alaska Irish Music Festival Inc. celebrates the culture of Ireland with more than 10 bands providing live music, Irish and Scottish dancing, and street vendors. It's fun for the whole family.
