Grand Circle Plans New French, Italian Rivieras Cruise-Tour

Grand Circle Cruise Line, a company that does not work with travel agents, is offering a new 15-day cruise-tour next year to the French and Italian rivieras.

The package includes visits to Elba and Corsica, and a seven-night cruise along the French Riviera on a 50-passenger ship.

The trip begins with a four-night stay in Florence, Italy, followed by the cruise on the Arethusa.

The ship sails to Elba, Corsica, and the mountainside villages of Cinque Terre and Carrara, and Portofino and Chiavari. In France, passengers will visit Villefranche before motoring to Cannes for a three-night hotel stay.

The cruise-tour begins at $3895, or $260 per day, with departures available March through October.
