Crystal offering discounts for solo cruisers
June 27, 2012
Crystal Cruises is making it more attractive for single cruisers to sail in luxury, offering a "solo travelers' sale" on fall Mediterranean voyages.
The line is reducing its single supplement to 10%, which it says will save individuals up to nearly $900 off a private, deluxe outside cabin.
"This is an ideal opportunity for cruisers indulging in a room all to themselves to realize significant savings and value," said Jack Anderson, Crystal's senior vice president of marketing and sales.
Crystal is offering the deal on eight 11- and 12-day Crystal Serenity sailings through the Black Sea, Middle East, Canary Islands, as well as entire Mediterranean.
The cruises embark from Athens, Istanbul, Venice, Barcelona, and Lisbon from September through November, and visit Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Montenegro, Israel, Croatia, Morocco and the Canary Islands.
Solo travelers on Crystal can experience assigned seating for dinner in the Crystal Dining Room, the "Table for 8" program which brings individual travelers together for shared dinners in the specialty restaurants, and "Ambassador hosts" on every sailing for those seeking a dance partner.
