Travel Republic expects 300 million pound turnover

Travel Republic has revealed it is set for a £300m turnover this year to fight against the media’s recent ‘scare stories’.

Travel Republic’s Managing Director Kane Pirie said that the press had created a ‘storm of anxiety’ following the collapse of Kiss and the damaging results of the ash cloud crisis.

“We are on track for a record breaking year with over £300m of turnover,” said Pirie. “People love going on holiday and there are many strong and thriving businesses doing really well.”

Top-selling destinations for the agency throughout July were Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal and Cyprus.
